Royal Misk is operated by Yash Royal Misk Fragrances L.L.C-S.P.C, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (“Royal Misk”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are the controller of personal information collected for our retail business.

This policy explains how we handle information relating to our website, online and in-store purchases, customer accounts and communications.

Information You Share with Us

Depending on how you interact with Royal Misk, we collect:

Payment Information

We process online and in-store payments through third-party payment gateways, point-of-sale providers and financial institutions, including Geidea.

We may receive limited payment records, including transaction references, amounts, currencies, dates, payment status, refund details, card brand and masked card numbers. Depending on the payment service and configuration, records may also include the cardholder name, expiry information or authorisation reference.

These records help us confirm purchases, reconcile sales, process refunds and resolve payment disputes. Payment credentials are handled through the relevant provider’s payment process.

Please do not send full card numbers, security codes, PINs, banking passwords or one-time authentication codes through email, messaging services or contact forms.

Where you choose Tamara as an available payment option, relevant order and customer information is shared with Tamara to facilitate that service. Payment providers and financial institutions may also process information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

Sharing Information with Service Providers

We share relevant information with providers that help us operate Royal Misk, including:

• Website hosting and technical support providers.

Hosting and Processing Outside the UAE

Our website is hosted by Hostinger on servers located in Malaysia, outside the United Arab Emirates. Personal information submitted through the website, including contact details, delivery addresses and order records, may therefore be stored and processed in Malaysia.

Hostinger processes website information on our behalf under its applicable Data Processing Addendum, which describes its processing responsibilities and security commitments.

Additional processing locations may be involved where authorised providers support hosting, technical services or other business functions. Transfers of personal information remain subject to applicable UAE data-protection requirements.

How Long We Keep Information

We determine retention according to the purpose of the information, our relationship with you and applicable legal requirements.

• Orders, invoices and payment records: Retained for applicable accounting and tax periods and, where necessary, to address refunds, disputes or legal claims.
• Customer accounts: Retained while needed to maintain the account, subject to review of inactive accounts.
• Enquiries and complaints: Retained until resolved and for any further period reasonably needed to address related complaints or claims.
• Fragrance preferences: Retained while needed to provide the requested personalisation or until you ask us to remove them, subject to applicable exceptions.
• Product notifications: Retained until the request is fulfilled, cancelled or no longer relevant.
• Marketing preferences: Retained while needed for authorised communications. A limited unsubscribe record may be kept to ensure we respect your choice.
• Technical and security records: Retained as needed for website operation, troubleshooting and security investigations.
• Cookies and tracking information: Retained according to the durations explained in our Cookie Policy and applicable cookie settings.

Closing an account does not automatically delete transaction records that we must retain for legal purposes.

When information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it. Copies in backups are removed through the applicable backup retention cycle.

Subject to applicable law and its conditions and exceptions, you may request:

• Information about how we process your personal information and access to it.
